Very impressed with the stallion. we had dins here with another couple. i had the scallops to start and they were flawless! she had the duck salad and the taste of that I had was pretty good too. for main I had the pork and it was delicious, the only flaw was the crackle wasn't crackly. she had the crab linguine. when it came out, it didn't look as good as the rest but it made up for that in flavour, delicious. for dessert I had the upside down cornetto and she had their version of the eton mess both were delicious. we washed all this deliciousness down with a bottle of the Torbreck GSM, this was the only letdown of the night.the staff were great and the atmosphere was social and chilled.In...
As someone who prides themselves on being a waffle enthusiast, I must say that the waffles at this restaurant are truly exceptional. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside. The hazelnut ice cream served here is out of this world - I have no idea where they source it from, but it must be of the highest quality. It pairs beautifully with the salted caramel sauce. In addition to the waffles, we also tried the mussels, lasagna, and lamb ragu, all of which were delicious and well worth the price. The service is fantastic, with staff who are always friendly and accommodating. This has quickly become one of our favorite dining spots.
We drive all the way from Newcastle to Gymea to have dinner at The Italian Stallion. That's 320 kms for the return journey. The food has to be something special for you to do that. James Watson is a standout chef. His Duck Salad is succulent, as is the Lamb, the Beef, the Scallops, the Crab Linguini, and the amazing white onion butter served with the bread course. You get the drift. Everything on the menu is lip smacking delicious. Praise also to Fabio who has to be the world's most charming and helpful waiter. Did I mention the cocktails? I need to stop now ... The long journey down is one of anticipation. The journey home sees us smiling contentedly.

Great Italian food portion size decent for the . Short menu but really well designed, everything seemed to gel on paper we were happy with everything when it came. I had veal (first veal shank! hubby had pork belly perfect accompaniments. Went for early dinner 5:45ish on a Friday night (with kidlets . Staff were great (moved a table to accommodate our pram . Was almost booked out but we were offered a table to be out by 7:30 totally fine. Don't take kids/prams when busy as it would be too loud squishy, but super early was good with lovely staff chatting to our 3yo...
We had a we had a table for six which included a couple who were not sure on what ithe food would be like. The night was great. Everyone had a great meal and the staff were attentive. It was only our second visit but their house special linguini dish with crab and chilli was, dare I say, to die for. So was the desert cannaloni with chocolate and cherries. Worth a try.
I was skeptical at first, but once I stepped inside, I realized this place is a hidden gem! The food was amazing and the service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the dishes, although the menu should be updated more regularly. It was a bit pricey, but it was worth it for a fantastic night filled with delicious cocktails and dishes.
Good food and atmosphere. The service is really friendly so it makes you feel really welcome and the food is amazing as well. I think it's slightly more expensive compared to the rest of the restaurants in the area but it's well worth it.

Great restaurant! The food is fantastic, the signature duck salad is the best salad I've ever had. Our waiter was great, very knowledgeable of the menu and was good fun. Will definitely be going back.
The food was superb and the service was quick. I especially enjoyed the prawn linguine and calamari fritti.
