We were pre-warned before we got here about this place. And the warning was accurate. Food at Italian Stallion is very good, however service leaves a lot to be desired. The gentleman serving us was stand-offish and asked my friend some very inappropriate questions. People obviously heard our table discussing the affront, then we realised our original waiter was replaced by a more professional lady for the remainder of the time while we waited for our desserts and the bill (about 20 minutes).That being said, all of our meals were superb, we had decided to "trust the chef" and we were not dissapointed. Food here is quite delicious, and if you do trust the chef, you're definitely going to leave...
Went to Italian Stallion with a group of girlfriends on a stinking hot evening (8PM sitting) and the Owner was great with cocktails and banter while we waited for our table. The restaurant does not have air con so was very hot inside and unfortunately, our table was in front of the kitchen servery, not near the big open windows. We felt a little overlooked by staff and I would recommend asking for a table away from the kitchen servery as was very noisy in that space (the speakers are above this area also)The decor is industrial and looks great. Love, love, love the style of the place. The food is DELICIOUS! I have been craving the Crab Linguine and the baked figs with prosciutto and gorgonzo...
What an amazing experience! Arrived for dinner at 6pm tonight, and as soon as we had arrived a black out hit Gymea, lasting until 8.00pm. The amazing staff were all so friendly, bought us drinks straight away and set to work out everything they could still cook via candle light. I had been recommended the chilli crab linguine and fresh focaccia and could not believe how impressive both were. Even more so given the circumstances. Can not fault the staff from beginning to end, it was amazing service and great attitudes. Very impressive to find this caliber of hospitality within the Sutherland Shire
5 Star Service, Staff with great personalities, and the food is DIVINE. I did not want to share I was going to keep it a secret but I could not help myself. I went there two weeks in a row. I have the lamb ribs and it was so good, melt in one's mouth good. Took a group of 8 and they are all raving about this place. Must have is their home made bread with chunks of garlic through it. Really it would not matter what your choice was here they are all excellent. I would book as they are pretty busy. The secret is out!

Lovely atmosphere, amazing food and very knowledgeable wait staff. Shout out to our waiter ( brittish accent) who even though our kids were being terrors, was so accommodating and kind to us and never made us feel uncomfortable. Will be back again.
James runs a very good restaurant even when he's not there. Mussels superb and crispy skinned barramundi to die for even if the portion is a bit skimpy. Epsilon shiraz is good with anything.
We had the 'chefs choice' meal which was five courses of the chefs choosing for $60.00 per head. All dishes were very nice but the outstanding one for me was a Duck Salad.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Great food great choice of wine and great service. Reasonably priced roo. Can't fault it. I'll definitely be back again

One of my favourite all time clubs, from the moment you walk in, the bistro has excellent choice of food & the wall of wine has an amazing selection.
