Italian Table Trattoria

This place used to be really good but continues to go downhill. Last night will probably be the last time I go there. Service is poor. I actually re arranged the chairs and place settings myself for our group, then had to ask the waiter to bring an additional place setting. Ordered fried calamari (which was excellent but had to ask for additional sauce. And somehow two different servers put in the calamari order so they brought out a duplicate order (about 10 minutes later , which they did not leave. The food was subpar. There was hair in our water. I asked for buffalo popcorn chicken. The waitress, who was a little snooty, said that she didn't think they had it. She went and checked and said that she did have it. I got the chicken and it was maybe two tenders and the were sliced and quartered. I'm thinking I was getting popcorn chicken. We were charged $7.99 for that. I was not going to be a pain in the ass. The Cesar salad was decent but my wife was not impressed with her Riverdale salad, as it the chicken was blackened and the taste of the salad was bland. Went in for dinner last week, ordered a couple of entrees and some pizza slices, was served after other had ordered similar entrees. Alerted the employees in charge and got an attitude (no big deal) upon paying for the meal the waitress gave the wrong mount on the change, alerted her of it and got the correct amount in all pennies... Food is OK, no employee that night acted professional to me or my family.

Good New Jersey pizza just not great. Large selection of slices with different toppings already made just need to be heated. They sell plain cheese slices for $1 at lunch time! They also have an extensive Italian menu but I've just had their pizza several times. It's the place we go to when visiting my parents at Cedarcrest.

Sicilian pizza was delicious. It was our first time ordering from here. Unfortunately I ordered the beet salad. It was terrible. I threw it out with my money I guess. Wilted salad. I don't even know what the story with beets were.
