Itxas Bide Jatetxea

I'm originally from Algorta but I've been living abroad for a long time. The one visit that is a MUST when visiting my family is Itxas Bide. You'll find the best fish cooked to perfection. Order anything, I guarantee you won't get disappointed. The meat it's very good too. My husband and I are foodies and this is our favorite fish restaurant. BTW, try the chocolate mousse!!!

We got off our cruise ship in the port of Bilbao and walked round to the old harbour in getxo. The bar downstairs serves nice sandwiches and there’s a restaurant upstairs. The beach is currently being upgraded and the promenade is all new so this is a welcome oasis after a twenty minute stroll. Seats inside and benches outside with a view of the beach and harbour.

Had a good experience at Itxas Bide. All we order was good. Staff was nice. May be the menu was bit limited (run out or not available). The atmosphere is ok and with direct view of the Sea. If you want quality seafood is a good place but as I described above , it is bit pricey.

Food is very good, fresh seafood and fish. Prices a bit expensive but worth the quality. Downstairs you can find the bar. Must try croquetas idiazabal

Typical place, small and clean, nice pintxos beer and wine. 23e for 2 adults and 2 children, and it was enough for diner!
