Izakaya Japanese Food Sushi

A surprise find in rural Virginia (outside Lynchburg): an izakaya Japanese restaurant with decent offerings of sushi, sashimi, hot entrees. It was pouring rain outside when we arrived. We were just here to order for take out. They were relatively fast, and packaged the food well. They've got creatively named sushi such as Red Neck. We gave it a try and it was great. They gave us a box to contain all the tiny boxes of food. A very small restaurant inside. It was just essentially a long sushi bar that ran the length of the shop. The sirlion steak is not tender. A bit rubbery to be honest. Won't get that next time. Sushi is great though.

Ordered chicken teriyaki for lunch and the chicken was hard and dry. It tasted like it was left over from the previous day.

The burritos are weird (sushi), thought worth the try. Also ordered off their habachi. Very very good!
