I have been to J. Alexander's a few times before and each time the service is exceptional and the food is usually pretty good. Yesterday evening was not as good of an experience for me and my family. Upon arrival I informed the hostess that I had an additional guest. I was met with disdain and a huff and puff. They were able to accommodate me and we were sat. A portion of our party did run a little late but we had our drink orders taken. Unfortunately, we were not tended to again for 45 minutes. We had to wave our waiter down multiple times throughout our visit. He was not very attentive and we often had to ask him to clear our table or come back to see us when he had a moment. J.Alexander’s Restaurant is a great place for food and drinks and meeting people . The Ambience is very much like a sports Bar. The service is very professional and the hosts are always very polite. The food is very good and flavourful. The quantity is very large and can be easily enjoyed by two people. They have a very special Fries which is very thin and crispy and goes very well with different types of dips. They serve a very good variety of protein. This specific J Alexander’s was by far the best I’ve ever been. The costumer service was outstanding Michael who happened to be my waiter was very personable and very knowledgeable. My 6 year old fell in love with the food and the restaurant’s atmosphere, which means a lot to me. I highly recommend it. They happen to be the only one serving pumpkin pie, which was my child’s request for dessert.
We had a surprise dinner here and the food was amazing. The staff seem to be very nice and the prices were pretty reasonable. They carry a wide selection on the menu. We will certainly be returning here for a girls night out dinner!

This restaurant offers upscale American dishes with a focus on quality and attentive service. The salads are generous in size and moderately priced for lunch. Three people dined here for a total of $100.
The food was really good the Carrot Cake was the best ever. Adrianna help to complete this wonderful first time dining experience. We will return.
