This morning, my friends and I decided to stop by J&J after our school testing to grab some bagels. While we were enjoying our food, the employees behind the counter started chatting with us, and I must say, they were by far the BEST staff we've encountered in quite a while. We ended up talking and joking around from the moment we sat down until we left. We spent nearly an hour after finishing our food, just laughing and having a great time. It was truly the best experience I've ever had at any restaurant. I would give it a 10,000 out of 10 and will definitely be going back regularly!
I typically refrain from writing negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with the prices at this restaurant, which I find to be outrageous. Charging $13.99 for smoked lox and cream cheese on a bagel is excessive, especially when I received only about two small pieces of smoked salmon. While I understand that inflation has been a significant issue lately, this feels like a case of overcharging. On a positive note, the $6.50 ham, egg, and cheese is still a reasonable option.
I spent $25 on a croissant with butter and jelly, as well as a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Unfortunately, the croissant was obviously stale, and when I requested to have it toasted, I was told it wasn't possible. For that price, I expected more than just a single strip of bacon. Most decent establishments typically serve at least 2-3 strips, and the one I received was quite small. I'm very disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. I won’t be coming back, respectfully.
Well, there goes my diet! I just picked up a dozen bagels today, and wow, they are absolutely incredible! I haven't had a decent bagel like this in years! They’re so dense and tender—truly old-school bagels! The sesame seeds are super fresh, and the dark pumpernickel and wonderful cinnamon raisin flavors in the bagels I chose were fantastic. This is definitely my new go-to spot! It's such a treat to find high-quality, traditional products paired with friendly service!

J J offers every combination of bagel delectable ingredients to create the picturesque layers of culinary flavor. I particularly like the everything whole wheat bagel with thick layer of lox, cream cheese, scrambled egg, prosciutto spreadable avocado. Looks too good to eat but good cup of coffee hunger.....
I ordered a little later in the morning, but my bagels were still fresh. The Bagel with Lox Cream Cheese was truly worth the price, featuring a generous serving of high-quality smoked salmon. My order arrived quickly, and I will certainly be placing another order soon!
This place is a Palisades Park/Ridgefield favorite. The staff is always familiar and you can tell the customers are many regulars. They won me over when they gave out cookies in the orders waiting with kids.
The service is quick, and the bagels are fresh and hot. The moment you walk in, the place has a wonderful aroma. The staff is friendly, and the service is excellent!

This has officially become my new favorite bagel place. The orders are prepared quickly, and the bagels always taste fresh.
