The sign outside said $11.50 for the combo regular place $12.95 I got charged full price I just wanted a burger $9.95 but she upselled me to a combo and she said it to me as if I didn't have a choice. for a burger and a poutine I tried to make two separate orders but I ended up with a drink that I didn't want to purchase between the poutine and the fries in the combo I had way too much to eat and some of it ended up in the garbage french fries don't really make good leftovers. when they're deep fried. burger by itself is 9.95 which is still quite a bit for a burger. My bill was $25.95. I think she added a dollar for a tip which also didn't want to give it should have been 19.95 for my order....
Always drive by this chill spot on the way to job sites in the area when we are in Kitchener and had to try it today. Everything was fantastic! Amazing selection, more than the average place for food AND drinks too! The jerk pork was maybe some of the best pork I have ever had(of any kind)! The oxtail and curry goat was perfect. This is by far the best Jamaican restaurant I've ever experienced in Kitchener. The food is absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. My husband and I found this place when I was pregnant and desperately looking for good Jamaican food. Everything was cooked thoroughly, it tasted amazing, the restaurant is spotless, the prices were really good and even after my baby, I'm there almost everyday getting lunch and dinner. Anytime I come to Kitchener, I make a stop here. The food is delicious and authentic, and the portions are a really good size. I absolutely love their snapper and the size of their dumplings is huge. It reminds me of my family's Jamaican cooking. If you haven't given this place a try, you definitely should!
Food was excellent, the owner is incredible he will provide the best service you can imagine. First time here but it will not be my last. I had Beef Soup, Jerk Pork dinner and because the Pork was so good got another pound of pork to go as well. This is truly an authentic Jamaican spot! ????????
