I ordered chicken teriyaki with stir fried vegetables and what I got was a bowlof rice with 6 small pieces of chicken, some fried onion and 3 pieces of green bean. No sauce to speak of. When I returned it and questioned the dish I was told, no refunds and that is what we serve here.The owner, an elderly lady was aggresive and very rude.I would rather go hungry than even set foot in this place again.A complete rip off.
Was hungry enough to eat my own arm so persevered but terrible. I shared okonomi yaki with someone which was nice but ruined with cheap and nasty Australian supermarket bbq sauce.Then had beef stir fry dish which used corned beef. Beef was pink and tasted of vinegar. Ruined the dish and should never have been described as a beef dishMy wife's chicken Don was good.
I will admit, I probably would not have eaten here had it not been recommended by a friend. It is not the most inviting looking establishment but look past that because the food is really good and freshly made. The service is very pleasant and the place is clean. Went here last night for some take away .. firstly there was no sushi rolls available , so I ordered a couple of different noodle dishes !They were ordinary .. lots of noodle with hardly any meat or vegetables .. and no flavour whatsoever ... no wonder it was so reasonably priced !!Would not go back !
This is one of the best Japanese restaurants quality of high take away J kitchen on the Sunshine Coast. Very reasonably priced considering the high quality of the food. The sushi is so fresh and the tempura is perfectly crispy. Highly recommended!Also 34 years experience Japanese Chef from. Osaka
We had Japanese Curry, Katsu Don and Okonomiyaki. They were all real Japanese taste. Current lady owner cooks for you and talks to you like a family member. I now introduce this shop to Japanese exchange students. They must miss home cooking and it's cheap enough for students to eat. やすくて,おいしいです
Order stir fry beef and vegetables and a soup. The sir fry beef was about 7 pieces of beef with two snow peas heaps of onion and rice, also no flavour.
