Jack Astor's London (south)

Waitress seemed overwhelmed with tables. Saw our freshly poured beers sit on the bar for a bit while she cleared a table. Food was quick. Overhead music was cranked while a fellow played live on the patio with an open door. Would have loved to just hear him! Always find the music is way too loud overhead in this location during the dinner hour. I get it after 8 or 9 but not at 6pm while you are trying to have a conversation with the people you are dining with. But good always good.

Great food except my chicken fingers came cold. Everyone else’s food at our table was hot. I didn’t complain because we waited for almost 40 minutes for our food to come after ordering so I didn’t want to wait any longer to eat by sending it back. If you are okay with being in a restaurant that is extremely loud then you’ll be fine eating here but be prepared to talk loudly to others at your table just so you can hear each other.

Too much terrible music and videos were distracting and very loud. Food was barely passable and not good for value while service personnel were prompt and attentive. Won’t be back anytime soon as there are multiple choices available and there was no compelling reason for coming back.

Our server was horrible. She didn’t check in w us. No refills on anyone drinks. Our food came out incorrect not once but twice. Then when the bill came she wasn’t in a great mood.

Great vibe but way too loud. You can't hear people at the table talking. Staff very friendly
