Was at Jack Austin's for a bite on New Year's Eve. The food service and view are just great. There was a pre wedding party going on so the place was filled with happy dressed up fokes, which added to the pre New Year's celebration. This American style restaurant has a small but nice selection. They also have local wines from Long Island, which add to the experience. The view of NYC is fabulous and FREE parking!
Absolutely! Our waiter was very helpful in recommendations, accommodations, and timing. Food was delicious we had the salmon and the special sea bass both perfectly cooked and extremely flavorful. Love the décor especially in the bathrooms (as strange as that sounds). Value was on par we'll for sure be back!

This restaurant is a good option for lunch in an area lacking in dining choices. The only other dining options nearby are Houlihan's, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (which is not open for lunch during the week), and Subway.
This restaurant is quite pricey for breakfast, and the food is nothing extraordinary. I think the high cost is mainly for the scenic view and prime location. I don't plan on returning in the future.
It was great. Only issue was cold potatoes and they rectified it immediately. Love love love the southern fried chicken and their Mac and cheese balls.

"We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The view was amazing, and we loved the cocktails. While it wasn't cheap, I believe it was worth it. This rooftop bar is the best one I've been to in NYC."
