We each had a drink, but they didn't taste like what I expected. To make matters worse, we were charged $2.50 for a small bread basket, which seemed to contain just one piece of bread cut into small pieces. The restaurant used to give these away, according to our server. This was an important birthday for me, and I was very dissatisfied with the meal.
This was our first visit, as we were in town for a short trip. R., and I went to the Steak House to celebrate the anniversary of our friendship. The filet mignon was delicious, the wine was fine, the creme brûlée exquisite, but the service was lousy. Lori, the waitress who served us, gave us the bill when R. still hadn't finished his glass of wine. Not only that but, in five minutes she came to the table to take the credit car. When she saw that we had not put the credit card, she apologised for being hasty and put it bak on the table. However, after another five minutes passed by she interrupted us again. With a fake smile she said: “Sorry, I thought you already left the card”. We realised that, in reality, she was rushing us. What a lousy and rude way...
I made a reservation for 6:00 PM but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. My wife, our two young children, and I were seated in the bar area, only to be informed that kids weren't allowed there. We then had to move to a booth in the dining room right by the entrance, where the waitstaff kept stepping outside, presumably for a smoke, and returning with a lingering smell. There was no children's menu available, so we ordered an appetizer instead, which took half an hour to arrive and was cold and unappetizing. Overall, I found the meal to be overly expensive and unenjoyable, and I have no plans to return to this restaurant.
My girlfriend and I came here after having a terrible experience at Packers in Semiahmoo. We were so happy we did! The service was outstanding and the food was even better! Food was good, but prices are extremely high for Blaine and Whatcom county. Portion size is medium for price. Waiter was good, prompt and courteous. Chicken parmesan was over $21.00 for medium size chicken and child size portion of pasta.

Great steakhouse in Blaine! I really enjoy the Bavarian platter. The service is friendly, and the location is fantastic—right across the street from the ocean, so we had a lovely walk after dinner.
