A disappointing experience.Walking in, the atmosphere is great and the menu looks delicious. Unfortunately there wasn’t any substance to back up the initial good impression.Service was acceptable, but not beyond.I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they unfortunately showed up cold. Cold gravy is a bit rough. The biscuit itself was interesting and good, but the gravy, even beyond the temperature, was really bizarre tasting in a bad way. One of my sides was wrong and I ended up receiving the wrong potatoes, which were admittedly very good.The 5% additional fee is really annoying. Just increase the prices by 5% rather than introducing a hidden fee.Overall, I see that many of the other reviews...

We love the food here and the mission statements at the front door. We’ve come here several times since we’ve moved in the areas.However, service is so poor. Today, it took 15 min for our waiter (2nd floor) to even get our orders, passing our table many times, to refill other customers coffee, etc. my husband had to go to him and ask him if he was going to get our orders. The customers behind us who was seated way after we were, got their orders sooner and got their food the same time we did.Then he got my order wrong. My Wife and I moved to Five Parks just over a year ago an we absolutely love Jack's Bar and Grill! The Cobb Salad and Fried Artichoke hearts have become staples of our neighborhood dining experience. Staff and service has always been great and just last year they started to allow dogs on the outdoor patio. Highly recommend this cool neighborhood hang out!Kid-friendliness: Space for our stroller was available and lots of kids in the neighborhood visit on bikes for ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp for wheel chair accessibility for both the front door and back patio.

This is an amazing place. The food was delicious, fresh and creative! What was even more wonderful, is the business approach of hiring unique learners! What a wonderful diverse restaurant experience! Will return when we are in the area again…for the food and their hiring policies. This place, makes the world seem, more kind, more colorful and provides excellent work environments for adults with disabilities…or as I like to say, different abilities. With gratitude……. I have ordered take out from this place but never had a dine in experience. But I finally decided to eat inside and it was delightful. The patio wasn't open due to expecetd rains but we asked one of the server if they could open for us and they didn't even think twice and readily agreed. That was awesome. Food has always been great but the customer service is awesome too. I am glad there are places like this who truly care about their customers.

I truly adore this place! It's simply amazing! The staff, particularly Aryah and Tom, always brighten my day with their friendly smiles. My favorite dish is the Pueblo Sloper—it's absolutely delicious! The conversations and drinks are also outstanding. I often drop by during the day to pick up coffee and pastries for my wife, and she loves them! If you're seeking an authentic review, stop by and see for yourself. You’re bound to enjoy it!

My wife and I recently went to Jack's for breakfast, and we were really impressed. Abby was our server, and I must say that while I'm sure all the staff at Jack's are wonderful, Abby truly stands out. Her service was some of the best we've had in quite a while. The food was, as usual, excellent. If you're in the Five Parks area, make sure to stop by, ask for Abby, and definitely try one of their **** Marys!

Your menu is too big to stay consistent for your cooks and idk who thought about all those items but be realistic if you wanted all that to stay consistent you would need about 4 stations 3 prep cooks. Think about cutting the size of your menu. I love seeing local businesses thrive. Look at the tangerine menu or snooze menus to get an idea. I would hate to see this business go down. Shawn greeted our group at the entrance with a warm smile and infectious enthusiasm. We were seated quickly, even with the lunch crowd in full swing. Each of the six of us made unique orders, and the waitress managed to get every detail spot on! The food was fresh and carefully crafted. Thank you for a fantastic lunch at Jack's! Food: 5/5

Great food as always. Steak and eggs breakfast is not a good deal. $17 and there was less than 3oz of meat on the plate. We'll keep coming back because we love the place, but won't be ordering that again.Food: 3/5
