A little off the beaten path, this place is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by nature, it offers a bit of quiet as you sit at picnic style tables to indulge your hunger for burgers, fries, hotdogs and shakes! I’d only been here one time before and recall the burgers being almost slider size. To my surprise they’ve either gotten larger OR my eyes finally adjusted to reality. Regardless, they are pretty amazing! The cheeseburgers are loaded with sautéd onions, which I enjoyed very much (until I put my mask on), and are very flavorful. I also ordered the loaded fries, which were loaded with a chili that was very delicious! I recommend stopping for a bit at Jack...
The menu may be limited, but everything they offer is excellent! Don’t expect salads or tomatoes here. Instead, you’ll enjoy a selection of sliders prepared in the classic Jack's Drive-In style. It’s a great spot, especially for those heading to baseball games. You order at the counter, pay, and then receive your food on a tablet to enjoy at one of the picnic tables. Alternatively, you might get your meal in a classic, sturdy paper bag. Keep in mind that the restaurant closes during the winter, but it reopens in March. Definitely worth a visit!
Fantastic food and quick, friendly service! The person taking our order has an incredible memory and really gets everything right. He has a great personality while maintaining professionalism. The cheeseburgers with onions, ketchup, and mustard were outstanding, as were the hot dogs and cheese puffs! I give this place five stars and can't wait to visit again! June 2021
Where should I begin? I've been dining at Jack's since I was a child, and I make it a point to visit every year. The food is affordable, delicious, and the location is fantastic. The burgers, the hot dogs, the fries, and the shakes are all spot on.

Love jacks little burgers smothered in caramelized onions. Minis with the works are good too. Went there ate 2 burgers and 4 minis. Then grabbed another burger for the road. Its a greasy spoon and an institution in Rensselaer county. Love it.
Old school in all best ways! Excellent burgers, perfect fries, great milkshakes. Plus best prices. Love it. Way better than the other place with Jack in the name ;
This is a great spot that has a simple premise and does it really well. Just your classic drive in, prices are great and the food is good
Hit or miss fries are terrible. Sliders are good sometimes. I don't eat hotdogs so I'm not sure about them.
