Jacksdale Garden Centre

On the day of our visit to the garden centre tea rooms in what has in the past been excellent service, the length of the queue for ordering and paying for food was unacceptable. Although there appeared to be other staff members present there was only one person serving the queue, who appeared to be unsure/hesitant as to what she was doing and seemed to be unaware of what was available on the Specials board outside as one of my friends just received a tuna sandwich minus the additions that were advertised. Guys, what have you done? Did you not read the script that garden centre cafes are cosy, warm and comfortable places? You’ve replaced all the nice chairs and table with black metal and plastic. The chairs are cold, hard and uncomfortable (so that people don’t stay too long maybe) and makes the place look bleak and dreary. You’ve also got the worlds noisiest and most irritating espresso machine. You were my favourite garden centre and cafe. Get rid of the ugly furniture, redecorate and we’ll say no more about it.

We recently paid a visit to the tea rooms for my sons 30th birthday for afternoon tea and Wow it was absolutely amazing, the food was all freshly prepared and plenty of it, unlimited tea coffee and the scones were the best ever. All the staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The place was really busy which speaks volumes. We will definitely return and will recommend to friends and family. Amazing place to catch up with friends and family.

I had a pleasant breakfast at this restaurant without it being too crowded. The staff was very helpful and appreciative. Although we had to wait a bit for our food, it was definitely worth it as it was cooked to order, hot, perfectly cooked, and there was plenty of it. I will definitely return to this restaurant again. I had a fantastic afternoon tea today (26th July). The staff went above and beyond, adding some extra treats for my son and even giving me a glass of champagne. They also surprised me with a birthday banner on the table. The value and quality of the experience were superb for the price. Thank you.

Just had a ice cream, as was visiting the garden centre for plant , it a few years since I been , was very very impressed with the whole set up , expanded a lot since I been before got a lot more , staff lovely, will definitely be going again and bring friends

Visited mid week. Waited an hour for our food. Service poor. The system they have for queuing to order, queuing again in another area for your drinks doesn’t work. Food when it came was fine but not worth the wait.

Went with my sister-in-law on her birthday. Lovely welcome, kind and friendly staff. Excellent quality cakes, scones, coffee and soft drink. Special thanks to the lovely Julie. Will definitely return. Reserva una mesa ahora

Had a lovely relaxing morning with friends. The breakfast was absolutely superb, better than we've had at other garden centres. The staff were really friendly and I would definitely recommend
