We had a good experience at Jacoby’s, ordering the pork Schnitzel and the Rouladen with Spätzle.Having both been to Germany multiple times, it definitely tasted and was presented properly/authentic. The Warsteiner Pilsner was also spot on. Prices are reasonable and the service was fairly fast. They have a beautiful old carved wooden bar. I hope they stick around and I’d eat there again definitely.

Visiting Detroit for the first time in decades, happy to see Jacoby’s still going. We were hungry and not disappointed by the portion sizes. We had a Schnitzel and Konigsberger Klopps. The schnitzel was a really nice pice of breaded veal with brown gravy and potato pancakes. The Kloppen was veal meatballs, noodles, and cream gravy. Both excellent, accompanied by German beer. We were very pleased.

This is one of the few places where I can find a Dunkel! The staff is fantastic, and I'm really glad I stopped by after work because the bratwurst was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was vibrant during the NFL draft, and I had a great time. Plus, the historic building is well-kept. Thank you!

Built in 1850 I think. Est.1904. I'm a sucker for history so this place was right up my alley. Started out as a blacksmith shop if I remember right. Cute blonde bartender. Great service. I had the calamari. Thumbs up. Reserva una mesa ahora

This pla e was an unknown to me before I got there... on a recommendation of one of the valets at my hotel... this was a great local Detroit original pub, way cool, hole in the wall. I 'LL BE BACK!!!

I haven't visited this place since I was a child, but the spätzle is still amazing. I strongly recommend trying the meatballs. The beer selection is extensive too!

Food was very good, quite authentic. Portion size was monstrous. The waitress was a gem, super nice and friendly. Good beers on tap too.
