A wonderful German restaurant. My Jager schnitzel was crispy, but moist. Upgraded to the spear that was the right choice for me, although I have no doubt that the potatoes would also be good. The whole restaurant has a lively energy, especially with the love jazz Friday night. The guy I suspect is the owner really seems like interacting with people. In addition to a number of carving options and another German fair, they have some interesting imported German beers. When you come on a Friday night, you expect it to be overcrowded. I suppose Saturday's the same.

The best family business, authentic German restaurant. Staff our incredibly friendly. I was in restaurants in Germany that don't compete. That's the real deal. German beer selection is also incredible. Live music for a few nights. Dessert is also from this world. Every time I'm on the mainland, I'm moving around here for carving and beer. A must try!

Super nice, cozy and authentic family restaurant! The carvings are fantastic and really generous portions. My husband loves the Jagerhof plate because it is huge, and has an assortment of meat. My favourite is the ex-carving with sparrow (figured). The live music on weekends also fits into the atmosphere!

Absolutely loved the carving and the desserts! We ordered the plate, sparrow (pasta, apple strudel and black forest cake (our fave!). Good portions and reasonable prices. Very talented musicians too. I'm glad we had money to give them a tip. We definitely come back!

Very authentique. The owner is the chef and server. Super friendly. There’s a 100-year old piano in the restaurant and there is live performance on Friday nights. Highly recommend for authentic German food.
