Disappointing! Love German food and this place was on my target for a few months.Food was very good. The veal schnitzel tasted great and I loved the red wine sauce. The only caveat is that the portions are way too small for the price they charge.Service was confusing, slow and uninterested, and it completely ruined my experience. The lady that served me looked grumpy and bored. I asked her if I could have the jäger platter and she simply said 'no you can't'. I assumed it was a joke and moved forward with the order and she didn't say anything else. For my surprise when the food arrived, the platter was not there and she told me she had mentioned it before! They then offered a sausage appetizer...

this restaurant offered duck schnitzel special which my son ordered and I ordered the regular schnitzel plate. we ordered an appetizer to share of spaetzel with mushroom and beef gravy. both our plates were quickly eaten with no evidence of food on our plates as it was soooooooo delicious. the restaurants stock of european beer and wines were appreicated too. of course we included their famous apfel strudel and flour free black forest cake. we will visit this restaurant again and do recommend visitors to visit this location--a must place to dine at. note this restaurant is closed on Mondays

Went for dinner Saturday night and enjoyed it immensely. Started with onion tarts and gnocchi with mains of veal schnitzel with port reduction and spaetzle, as well as beef rouladen. I had a dark beer and the wife had Black Forest coffee. Food came out in sequence with about 12 minutes between courses and everything was prepared perfectly. Our waiter was exceptionally energetic and engaging and really seemed to enjoy his work. Wonderful German/European restaurant, clean, and with a fair price point, my wife and I highly recommend. Would definitely come back.

After not going for yrs we decided to go back. We were pleasantly surprised. The owner did a complete 180 turn with the restaurant. He cut the menu in half. Keeping the staples , and also adding his own touch. The restaurant was very clean and busy I had the lentil soup followed by the rouladen . They were both great. He even has a German band playing. No longer the hole in the wall that it used to be and is now a great place to eat. Make sure you have reservations on a weekend. They were turning people away. Reserva una mesa ahora

we are very often on holiday outside Germany and also more often in canada. in German local we never go. here I made an exception because the son of friends worked there in the frame "work and travel" and what should I say - I was surprised. my nephew who travels with us brought it to the point: the carvings are here better than in many German restaurants. our friends who were also with us have enjoyed the dinner and want to come back. too.

I have travelled many times across Germany, and Jagerhof in North Vancouver served me the best home-made Spätzle I have ever eaten; thank you to the chef for this great lunch, the schnitzel and black forest cake (home iteration) were also very good. Excellent and to the point service. Looking forward to my next trip to Vancouver and in coming back to this newly discovered gem.

Had the good fortune to stumble upon this restaurant while looking for a place to do lunch. Great front of house service and the food is is, quite simply, sublime alpine goodness. The house-made gnocchi was the best that I have had anywhere in the world. Finishing with a delicately done apple strudel helped to complete the culinary transportation back to the Alps.

We had a great experience at this place. My husband had been stationed in Germany for many years, so enjoys the food. The food was excellent and the service superb. The wait staff were very friendly. I had the Spatzle and my husband enjoyed the Jagerhof Platter. We'd definitely return to this place. Reserva una mesa ahora

Had to revisit and try their Special Jagerhof schnitzel with mushroom sauce...FANTASTIC. Spätzle a very good alternative to fried potatos. Busy at lunch time for a Tuesday ... very good food. Period.
