Can only describe as a very awkward experience. My 4 yr old had been curious about this place for a while seeing the large mural on the side of the building. She decided today was the day to try. We walked in and were the only customers at the time. Chairs lined the perimeter of what looks like a small dining area and there was a high top table with 4 chairs. My daughter ran to the table and started to climb up the chair and was quickly told by the worker we cannot eat inside. Daughter doesn't understand and starts to become upset. I oder food and am then told to go outside to wait for it on a blustery day with not a single other customer in the place. Very unwelcoming experience.
I was up in downtown Milford for the first time and had dinner at Diggity Dogs and I do have to say, Dammm! Good hot dogs other than a NYC dirty water corner dog. Try the Alaskan Dog and the New Yorker Dog. Very nice favors put together. It's definitely a must to go a have any of the dogs. I super highly recommend it! Thx Bob
Me and my husband have started making Jake's our hotdog place! As soon as you walk in your greeted with a smile. Friendliest owner I probably have ever met. Made to order great food and great service.And also has great stories to hear. I will hands down top this as a MUST GO TO in milford!!!!!
Loved how we were treated from the moment we walked in. Plenty of choices for hot dog lovers. They also have burgers and subs. My family and I ordered The All American, The Tex, Seattle and a Bacon Cheeseburger. Fantastic onion rings and fries. With drinks it came up to $60.

We spotted this place when we were going to go to a different restaurant am glad we did. They serve hot dogs burgers sides. They have a very good selection of different combinations of hot dogs the food we ordered was very good. We definitely go there again
There are a ton of hot dog places in Milford, but in my opinion Jake's is the best. Their toppings are always fresh they give you huge portions. Wonderful variety of hot dog toppings as well. Onion rings fries are great also. Super friendly service.
We aren’t from the area, but my wife and I found this gem on the way back from a hike. It was an amazing find and was absolutely delicious! Stop by if you have a hankering for a hotdog, you won't be disappointed.
My wife I Tried it for the first time and the food was amazing so hot and fresh. The wait time was super quick .The staff is super friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try more items
