Absolutely unreal experience. My girlfriend and I stumbled upon this local gem while we were craving some oysters. We’d usually make the trip out to Toronto to Rodney’s but wanted to avoid the hassle of driving down from Oakville today. That led us to Jake’s. A pretty unassuming spot from the outside, Jake’s has been open for about 38 years (according to our server, Scott). We rolled up at about 6pm on a Sunday and to our surprise the restaurant was full (a sign of what was to come). The hostesses were great and got us a table for 7:15. I have to start with Sarah our server. I can’t explain the level of service she provided. It had Four Seasons vibes, she was amazing! The food was delicious, the chef and Sarah together took care of my 7+ allergy restrictions, and celiac case. It was top notch. The menu was fun and I had plenty of options, Sarah even made sure I could try some of their sauces. I highly recommend you check it out. And the Pickerel dish it was to die for, and I had the modified version, I can’t imagine how delicious it would be in its original state. Amazing! And the oysters, so fresh! We have been going to Jakes for over a decade now and I can't believe I never left a review but feel like I had to after our last visit for my birthday! The oysters are always the attraction here they really do it big with all the different types of hot sauces this is something we always ask what's on the bed when visit. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Wish they would add a warm lobster roll on the menu someday. Be sure to make reservations as this place gets filled up quickly during dinner hour.

Place is unbelievable. Everytime i leave this place im so happy knowing that theyre are still people out here who actually care about bringing you the best tasting food and experience and give the most genuine vibes ,which i dont see much of anywhere else.. place is top notch.. shout out to Mark behind the bar who will lead you in the right direction if you are ever in need of a push.
