Jalalabad - Reservar una mesa

My wife and I have been ordering takeaway food from this restaurant for many years. We had such high regard for the quality of the food and service. Sadly this has deteriorated due to lengthy waits, missing items, and inconsistent quality. Our last order was the straw that broke the camels back. It was over 2 hours and the food was nearly inedible. So disappointed. I rarely post on TripAdvisor but am so unhappy especially since we have been loyal customers. The enclosed photo illustrates how terrible our last delivery was.

If spice is your thing then Jalalabad is for you. The food was absolutely delicious, well presented and the staff were very helpful and attentive. The restaurant is clean and bright a welcome change from the often dark interiors so ubiquitous amongst curry houses. The food was cooked to order and the chef did us proud. Spicy Dahl, hot and fragrant, perfect aloo gobi, a lamb balti, light hot and totally delicious. Our only regret was that we couldn’t eat more. All in all a great meal one of the best we’ve had.

Wonderful find and beautifully presented food served by courteous staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Very ambient surroundings and immaculate with the best Indian cusine I've tasted in a LONG time. Thank you for a lovely evening and to the owner who also took the time to come out and say hello. I will be back!!

I'm not local and needed a meal, that was good for gluten intolerance. The staff were helpful, friendly and it was a tasty well spiced meal. The only downside it's two hours drive from where I live but if I'm in Herefordshire again, I now know a good Indian restaurant.

Another fabulous curry from (in my opinion) the best curry house in South Shropshire. An extensive menu with some different dishes, not your average curry house.
