My husband and I like to eat here as regularly as we can. Unfortunately it has not been so regular lately but we recently had a chance to visit and we were not disappointed. There are now new items on the menu of which the ones we tasted are a great addition. I had the goats cheese starter and my husband the ducks liver, both of which were exceptionally tasty. I opted for the saltimbocca and my husband the steak in worronoff sauce again both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house white and red wine are decent . The only negative we had was that rice was served with our main meal whereas potatoes would have been a better option and we did not see if there was a choice on the menu.But now w...
We were 2 couples and decided to eat close by our house in Jalon. The restaurant is small and cozy with a nice Spanish touch. The service was very good and the quality of the food really surprised us. Warm bread was served followed by our starters of very good quality. The main course for us was a piece of high quality meat on a hot stone, which seems to be their speciality. Price wise very affordable and a very high value for money rating. I can recommend this restaurant to everyone that want very good food for a very reasonable price. They even have a few tables outside but I like the inside atmosphere much more.
Un restaurante muy español. Estropeado por los clientes habituales que reciben un trato preferencial en las opciones de comida y un chupito al final de la comida, mientras que a nosotros, turistas, nos dieron solo lo básico. La comida estaba bien, el servicio fue rápido pero ciertamente no con buena disposición y una sonrisa. Realmente no lo recomendaría debido a lo anterior, lo cual es una lástima porque realmente podría haber sido una experiencia más agradable.

Solo una pequeña reserva de restaurante es esencial. Escondido justo al lado de la plaza principal en el centro de Jalon, Del Hierro sirve comida tradicional mediterránea. Una excelente comida de tres platos que incluye vino costará alrededor de 30 euros por persona. Recomiendo el paté y el pescado.
