Jamaica Food Basket

We enjoyed some delicious authentic Jamaican cuisine during our visit. We indulged in our favorites: Ruck Huhn, oxtail, and fried plantains. The shrimp in coconut sauce was absolutely amazing! We also sampled the red snapper, which was a whole fried fish topped with flavorful spicy vegetables. It was a unique experience since we're used to different fish preparations, but we were thrilled to try it. The ordering process was a bit confusing at first, but we asked plenty of questions, and the waitress was very helpful. We’re definitely planning to return to enjoy our favorites and explore new dishes!

Hands down the BEST Jamaican food in YXE! We had an amazing experience at JFB! The owners Sandra and Donovan are fabulous, friendly people who put a ton of heart in to this new business. They hand cook all of the meals and offer authentic fresh Caribbean groceries and treats. And the food!!???!!! OHHH MY the food is AMAZING! We enjoyed the Oxtail with rice and peas and veggies as well as some fried plantain. I am still drooling over that amazing meal! YOU MUST EAT HERE! <3

The Jamaican food here is absolutely delicious! We started with the scrubs and the cattle shoots, which brought back wonderful memories of our trip to Jamaica. For our main course, we shared the Ruck Chicken, roasted chicken, healed goats, and oxtail. We’re so glad we tried everything and even took some leftovers home to enjoy the next day. I definitely recommend dining here!

I ordered through Uber Eats and the food was delicious! I had the curry chicken patty and jerk chicken with rice and peas. The jerk chicken was incredibly flavorful, and the patty was perfectly crispy with a tasty filling. I will definitely order again!

I have dined at Jamaica Food Basket twice, and both experiences were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you enjoy Jamaican cuisine!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the customer service is fantastic. I enjoyed two plates of food yesterday and had the leftovers for breakfast this morning. It's the best food I've had so far!

What a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this place at 11 PM while searching for food downtown. The oxtail is incredible. Make sure to check it out when you have the chance!
