Jamaica Food Basket

Hands down the BEST Jamaican food in YXE! We had an amazing experience at JFB! The owners Sandra and Donovan are fabulous, friendly people who put a ton of heart in to this new business. They hand cook all of the meals and offer authentic fresh Caribbean groceries and treats. And the food!!???!!! OHHH MY the food is AMAZING! We enjoyed the Oxtail with rice and peas and veggies as well as some fried plantain. I am still drooling over that amazing meal! YOU MUST EAT HERE! <3

delicious authentic Jamaican food. we had our favorites of ruck huh, ochsenschwanz and fried plantains. we tried the garnels with cocoss sauce and it was amazing. we also tried the red snapper, it was a fried full fish with very spicy veggies on the top. very different as we normally eat fish, but very happy we tried. we found the order a little confusing, but many have asked the waitress and everything worked. we will be back for our favorites and try new things!

was absolutely delicious! the healed goat I had tasted very authentic, fell from the bone and super delicately tried very similar to the cured goat I had years ago in Jamaica! the big was a lot of food for me (quite a big eater.) my friend has the backpack chicken and it also tastes great! I would certainly recommend this place! the atmosphere certainly also gave a Jamaican mood.

delicious Jamaican food. we had to start rum-pitch and the cattle-paper and they reminded us of our vase after Jamaica. then we shared ruckhem, fried chicken, healed goats and ochs tail. so happy we tried everything and took rest after home to eat the next day. definitely recommend to eat here! I have dined at Jamaica Food Basket twice, and both experiences were fantastic. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you enjoy Jamaican cuisine!

The food is absolutely delicious, and the customer service is fantastic. I enjoyed two plates of food yesterday and had the leftovers for breakfast this morning. It's the best food I've had so far!
