My husband orders from here most of the time he’s in the mood for Caribbean food as the price is decent, the food never tastes great but it’s OK. PASSABLE at best. However last night he ordered two oxtail meals, as I started to eat I could tell something was off, the rice tasted a bit slimy and the oxtail just did not taste good. However I ate a couple pieces of oxtail and threw the rest away even mentioning to my husband that that meal did not taste good. Later that night my stomach felt off but nothing too crazy. However I wake up the next morning and I get hit with an onset of stomach CRAMPS like no other and bad diarrhea. Felt like I was having contractions and I cried like a baby. Their food gave me food poisoning. I did some research and based on my symptoms it was most likely caused by the germ Clostridium perfringens which means they are not cooking their food to the appropriate temperature or not storing their large batched food at the appropriate temperatures, they are either letting it sit and get too cold before serving or not having it adequately heated up to begin with. Just be careful ordering from here because NOT ME EVER AGAIN.

I came here to get away from the madness of my world, simple words, I had a horrible month. I walked in and the lady said next, me being respectful I asked everyone were they served. They said yes. I preceed to place my order two beef patties for my children, and I was waiting for my bf to come in and she was so inpatient yelling next next so loud. I felt rushed and disappointed at the same time. I walked out because if I would have stayed I would be in jail on the strength of my stress. It was my first time being there. I'm never going there again. And I'm posting this everywhere.

When it comes to Jamaican culture, these people know exactly what to do. They know exactly how to cook before and I had to put taste. I love Colin hear the people are so nice in your food is not over priced sure to visit if you’re in the area and have a taste for yourself

Their okra and saltfish was excellent. The okra tasted fresh, and it had some crunch. The fish was perfectly seasoned and had the right amount of salt. The only negative is that they do not sell any Black Cake slices, only the whole cake.

This restaurant has the best tasting Jamaican food on Long Island, every cuisine is made fresh. It wakes up your palate. You will not be dissatisfied.
