The food here used to be wonderful. However, times have changed! Visited today, 7/12/24, at 12:30p for lunch, and the place was empty... A warning sign I ignored! I ordered a Large Jerk Chk dinner, with a side of Jerk Ckn, totaling $33.48. The cashier seemed uninterested to be there. The jerk chicken was dry and old. Very disappointing! Is the new business formula to charge a lot more and give a whole lot less! That's my last visit to what used to be one of my favorite grilled jerk chicken spots in my area! SMH!
Whomever it was that was the owner, didn't speak and was quite rude, but loudly greeted every customer after me. The food was good but highly OVERPRICED. I paid a whopping $35 for plate that was actually a small portioned plate, posing as large, which is what I ordered. There was a very portion, a tablespoon full, of cabbage which was room temperature. The oxtail were seasoned well, but tough. They needed more cooking. The yellow rice was very good. The beef pattie was not hot either. It was room temperature.
The cashier Lele took my order but NEVER put it in. After waiting for 10 minutes for food that’s already pre made I asked what was the reason for the wait. Only THEN did she put in my order after she, the host AND the cook or whatever his job title is were finished Lilly gagging. Pretty bad customer service, likely will not be returning. This was on Sunday July 28, 2024 at a little before 7:30 pm oh and we were the ONLY guest present in the restaurant
This was my first experience with Jamaican cuisine, and I ordered two Rasta Pastas along with two lemonades. The pasta had a lot of flavor, and the portion sizes were good. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the meal, although I found the prices to be a bit high. I ended up paying $45 for both pastas and $9 for the two lemonades, bringing the total to $58.32 after the 8% tax. The food was great, but it is definitely on the pricey side.

It’s crazy that the price of oxtails have went down in the stores but 35 for a large plate with six small bones and then I had to ask for more cabbage cause she gave me a half of scoop but will pilled the plate up with rice this place use to be fair but now there money hungry price gouging well this my last time supporting I’ll look around for better options
The mac and cheese had no flavor at all, and the $30 oxtail plate was a complete rip-off considering the small portion size. I only gave it 2 stars because the restaurant itself is nice. This will definitely be my first and last visit.
The plantains were soggy, the curry was excessively salty, and the rice was undercooked. I spent $23 for a small plate, and the food was terrible, especially for that price. I wouldn't recommend this place.
Horrible restaurant service from the cooks. I complained about my food that was incorrect. The advised the guy at the counter and he got an attitude about something I payed for. So never again
