This historic site, known as the birthplace of Maine, was a must-see for me as I delve into my family’s roots in Colonial America. Visiting it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, our waitress was friendly and warm, and the FOOD was exceptional. My husband and I ordered the king prime rib, and I can assure you that those portions were definitely not just 14oz—they were at least 18oz! The meat was tender, flavorful, and drenched in delightful au jus. Since I am allergic to potatoes, I opted for the sweet potato fries, which I’ve learned to enjoy... albeit reluctantly. Loved the atmosphere and everyone who worked here who we interacted with was *lovely* af. We got the baked lobster and the baked seafood medley and both were great. I loved the lobster, it was perfectly cooked and the scallops were excellent. I?m not sureI?d get the baked lobster again though because the stuffing in some ways distracted from the exceptional quality of the lobsteritself. Fantastic though and glad I tried it! Side potatoes were great but broccoli was over cooked. The portion size for theBaked Seafood Medley was a bit on the small size!
We had an absolutely incredible experience at this restaurant. Without a doubt, it offered the best food, service, and atmosphere we've ever encountered. KK and the rest of the staff were not only fun but also prompt, contributing to a fantastic ambiance. A special shoutout to the chefs for their outstanding Mediterranean chicken—it was unlike anything we've ever tasted—as well as the mussels, which were simply delicious! Although we live two hours away, we definitely plan to return. Keep up the excellent work!
Second time here and chose same meal again. Super friendly and attentive bartender, Kay Kay. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend lobster stew and the seafood scampi. So much fresh seafood in a delicious broth. If it had a little fresh garlic and a tad more salt in the broth, it would be even better. Salad with scallops was great. Locals recommend the haddock sandwich. Love the atmosphere at the bar. Will be back.

Family friendly and nice spot to dine or get happy hour outdoors. Solid starters, we shared mussels, nothing especially notable in food quality or taste, but a good, predictable traditional Maine seafood forward menu catering to tourists. Brought out of towners, might return for happy hour. Wish they had more Maine forward beer selection to accompany the seafood! Friendly staff!

Wonderful seafood! We had the scallops appetizer, which was delicious very delicate and perfectly cooked. (Remember the blank plate! A lot of actually, like you a lot for an appetizer. Then the hotplate and the sandwich were both perfect. tender, fresh and very tasty. Even the Koleslaw was very fresh and crisp. We sat outside on such a beautiful day. Very recommended
