Jamin Vegan (by Jamafo Xpress)

I seem to be in this area of LA once a month minimum and I’m not sure why I just found this gem. You can order online (I suggest this) or at their touchpad kiosk inside. FYI No inside seating. This is a small typical LA shopping mall with limited parking so best to place an order run in to pick it up. Well worth it! What a wonderful change of pace from the usual. My husband I could not believe how much each box meal weighed (at least 1 lb if not 2) as no skimpy portions here. We each now have enough leftover for a second meal. My husband got the jerk chicken. Very tasty and definitely spicy smokey flavored. Yum! I ordered the sweet sour also good. We are both glad we tried the coconut rice beans vs playing it safe with white rice as super tasty. Plantains were cooked just right. The big surprise was the cabbage. My husband was about to place his order w/ no cabbage and I told him to give it a try. Well, he loved it. Yes nice add to the rest of the meal. We also split a piece of carrot cake. I do not think it was vegan but whatever they used for frosting it was AMAZING as it had a zing to it. One of the best carrot cakes I ever remember eating. Would love to know their secret. Updated from previous review on 2021 09 20

People who sell the tortured and murdered bodies of dead baby animals for profit are ANTI VEGANS. You can't kill my friends and be my friend more than you can possess slaves and call you a disgust. Take the word vegan from your business name or if that sounds unfair GO VEGAN! It is simple and profitable for many companies. Jah hates liars and Jah hates the unnecessary abuse and exploitation of animals. ...it could be. Definitely has the rich spice season. Remember Karin's back on the day in downtown Chicago with the backpack. A favorite here when in the area. Jerk Box packed, so worthy of money. No concern revealed with quality and ingredients. If not organic, at least NON GMO. Take off. Sourcing can be problematic for many companies to go organic. Customer service continues. Order status has two terminals. Go for the vegan, even if you can order from the non. Less confusing. Packaging is correct, seal and juice protection. Updated by previous review on 2022-06-26

bf and I found the place on yelp. I think it is the only caribbean vegan food option in the area and it was delicious! only complaint is that it is a little salty

The vegan options are large portioned and delicious! I'm in love with the coconut rice and fried plantains
