Been to Jamy's twice now since it opened, and was impressed both times by the quality of the food. That alone is worth the 5/5 rating. Delicious and fresh burgers, some good variations like the Redhead, which is pleasantly spicy. My wife's chicken burger with avocado was also great. At last I had the chance to try Jamy's. The interior was very industrial. You had to order at the counter and were given a buzzer to know when your order was ready to collect. I had ordered Jamy's Double pack with bacon and sweet potato fries. I was pleasantly surprised that you could order your burger medium etc. Next time I will try for medium rare. The burger was huge and my eyes were obviously bigger than my stomach. But I pressed on and finished it, plus most of the fries which were excellent. I will definitely visit again. The star, of course, was the actual burger patty which was Angus beef and really tasted of beef !
Friendly environment and nice staff, but no waiters, just like in a Biergarten. The table we sit didn't look very clean and there was an awful amount to of mosquitos on the walls, which was a bit off putting. For the price, the burger could be bigger. It was tasty but rather greasy and too much overcooked for my taste. The tomatoes inside the sandwich were very, very cold, and this didn't go well. The sour bacon fries were really good and we're actually the high point of the meal. Overall, not terrible, but not great either. I expected more after so much advertising on Facebook.

So says the American bf, who knows a thing or two about burgers. The buns are soft, the beef is Angus and the fries crispy. What more could you want? The price seems fair considering the alternatives on the market and the décor is low key. I ordered the burger with avocado and the works and the bf had the "red" burger, I believe, with a special spicy sauce. He ate there two days in a row during the recent wine fest and ordered the same thing twice. Nice alternative.
I came to this place with high expectations, since some friends had highly recommend it, sadly I left feeling disappointed. I had the Jamy's classic, since I wanted to try out just how good their regular cheeseburger was, and I have to say it's nothing special. The beef patty was undersalted. A crime that is inexcusable when cooking Angus beef which already has a very weak flavor. The only redeeming factor was the delicious mint lemonade
The service was relatively fast and friendly and everything was fresh produced and the burger tasted great,but for a burger fries and coke € 17 was too much as the portion was not that big even though I had an extra patti added.I would eat here again only if friends wanted to as I know I would leave hungry and poor.
Just go for the Portobello Burguer. Really, trust me. One of the best burguers I had, vegetarian or not, it is worth having a try! For less than 10 euros, is one of my favorite options in Darmstadt!

This a good option of Hamburger if you are in Darmstadt. There are several good options of Hamburgers, but for me the best is the SmokeAttack.
A perfect place to eat a burger. Friendly staff and very good food. Freshly burger with good variety. Really to taste it!
