After waiting 25 minutes, I finally received my food, despite being the only customer in the place. I was shocked to find that there wasn’t a single clean table for me to sit at anyway. The cup of soup was only half-filled and had clearly been microwaved. The panini was made on stale bread and was burnt, with the BBQ chicken tasting more like jerky—horrible and obviously not fresh. To top it off, the salad came without the grilled chicken I had ordered; instead, it contained some dry, unappetizing shredded chicken that I could barely identify.
Then, I decided to go back inside to explain my concerns. I handed the bag back and left for KUMO next door, where I was warmly welcomed and treated...
Great ambiance and great service, a good spot for just two....or a bunch of people, but not 5 stars, but see for yourself. Was pleasantly surprised by the large mug of coffee. The menu was a good selection of both ecclectic and the usual breakfast fare. However, the first impression of the food was...the small portions. Secondly, the buttermilk pancakeS...we're, um, just one pancake. Lastly, the desserts were limited to rugelach, which is not always a turn on for me.
I really enjoy Jane's! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I often come here with my coworkers; it's a lovely spot for a quick bite. It would be even better if they included chips and/or pickles with the sandwiches. I also noticed that they seem a bit understaffed during lunch hours.
The space was a bit cramped, and it seemed like they were slightly understaffed. We were eager to try their famous waffles, but unfortunately, they no longer serve them, even though they were listed on all of our menus. The food was quite good; I had the egg, bacon, and cheese on a croissant.

This place is just what Pearl River needed. Great little coffee shop with nice breakfast and lunch items. Food has always been good and fresh. Staff is not the swiftest at times, but always friendly. Seating is limited, but nice to sit outside on warmer days. Dog friendly outside as well.
Just what Pearl River needs! Whether you're looking for a meal, a snack, or just a cup of coffee, this place has it all! And if you're in the mood, you can even take home a lovely bouquet of flowers afterward!
This place is Awesome I give 5 stars. Thanks Ruben Vega Who is the new owner of what is now the River Cafe. I highly recommend. Sunday steak and eggs brunch with a free mimosa was absolutely delicious.

WOW just got french toast and sausage and a couple apple turnovers to go! DELICIOUS! was my first visit, won't be my last!
Had lunch here few times. Meals are consistently good. Great salads and smoothies.
