More Egyptian than Lebanese even the decor and music. Not all the food was Lebanese. Don't get me wrong, it was nice food. Kishek was more like a lebne, falafel was not falafel. Mixed pickles were beetroot and olives, Kanafe was more like baklawa. They didn't have makanek as sausages, they gave us a different sausage. Kibbeh was so dry. Salads (tabula and fatoush) need a lot of improvement. We came for dinner last Friday as 2 families. My husband is Lebanese. Went for my family birthday meal, was treated to wonderful food and hospitality including an impromptu Lebanese Happy Birthday with delicious sweets, really enjoyed the occasion.
