How have I not wrote a review for Japino! I've been here at least 4 5 times and I LOVE IT. Kim the owner is the best! Since she works on her own, she likes to describe it as a One Stop Eatery, you need to be patient since it's all worth the wait! We dined in and ate out, but CALL FIRST and ask how long the wait is. PROS: Kim is blunt and will let you know how long it will take. Seating is limited, she has about 3 4 tables, so it's best to always call. You can also place a takeout order, but like I said you better call first. She's 1/2 japanese and filipino so she has a taste from each cuisine which is amazing. My faves are Curry Pork Chop, Takoyaki, Chicken Karage, Spagetti Roe, and Kare Kar...
My wife has been looking for homestyle Japanese food since she moved to Nj from California. You can taste the love in the cooking. My wife had the Chicken Katsu Curry and I had the miso ramen noodles with level 10 spicy. We shared the chicken gyoza and the mixed gyoza. Everything tasted very fresh. Kim was amazing with her service. If I could I would 10 stars for the whole experience.
I believe this restaurant is fantastic, with a one-of-a-kind concept. The owner is the sole worker and creates incredibly delicious dishes. While the food may take a bit longer to prepare compared to other restaurants, the wait is not excessive. I suggest visiting when you have some time to spare and savor the delicious food. I highly recommend trying the pork katsu curry and kyudon!
I visited with my dad and I got tonkatsu curry while he got chicken curry, the food was absolutely delicious. On top of this, the owner is a wonderful woman though, she let us in even though we got there after dine-in hours ended (check the website! and was super sweet. I would HIGHLY recommend eating here. Delicious, authentic food with quick service and a kind owner.

I had the Gyu-Don and it was great! I'll definitely come back to try some of the Filipino food. There's actually more different foods on the menu than listed on the website so you just have to come in and see what's on the daily menu! The owner is amazing and one the sweetest restaurant owners I've met in a long time. Can't wait for my next visit
Noticed this place finally not to long ago. Glad my wife and I decided to finally try it. Amazing cooking. It's one woman who cooks like you are her family. I felt the love in each bite. She is a total master of her craft. We will definitely now become regular customers. Go in, be polite and patient, it's absolutely worth the and the wait.
Best Ramen I've ever had!Highly recommend authentic Japanise Ramen and food.The owner is fantastic. She makes authentic Japanese food; I was also surprised by the filtered tap water, which hadn't any weird taste; even the ice was filtered- that is what I call paying attention to details!Will visit again for another great Ramen.
My wife, son and I came across this restaurant, enjoyed it immensely, great food at a reasonable price, chatting w Kim was alot of fun as well, my son had the Ramen, my wife the sinigang pork, and I had the oxtail, very enjoyable, great dining experience, highly recommended.

Best home kitchen style and super authentic Japanese Ramen and Filipino food. If you don't mind waiting and handle the boss owner with a bit of personality, this is really good from Japan and Philippine
