Speechless! I’ve tried to come here twice last summer but both times I forgot a reservation was recommended and therefore the wait times were too night (I understand the demand though! Because it’s the best in the city! and so I finalllly got to dine here last weekend with my friend, who has been here a few times and loves it too. Anyways, we ordered a lot: the edamame (perfect amount of savoury flavours, honestly I wish I knew how to make this so I could eat like a pound of this a day as a healthy snack lol , which paired nicely with the sweet notes from the variety tempura (honestly the best and most fresh I’ve ever tasted! . I frequent this restaurant quite a bit and I am always amazed by the quality of food.Today we went for my sisters birthday and had an amazing time as usual! Today was particularly amazing due to our waiter, Aidan, who made us feel very welcomed and tended to! He made sure that everything was to our liking and made pleasant conversation that made the dinner feel welcoming.The food was delicious and has great value for its price. Even when the place is busy, we still got served quickly and had a great time. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Excellent fusion Japanese food in Edmonton! Great drinks, sushi, appys and dessert. Came on a week night and it was packed so reservation is recommended. I really liked the premium nigiri plate which consist of 3 pieces of blue fin tuna (akami, chutoro and otoro) and 3 pieces of aburi nigiri, other than that, wagyu beef was also very good and melts in your mouth after cooking table side, save room for dessert! slightly on the pricy side about 100 dollars per person spent including drinks and dessert.

Got the spinach gomae which tasted like sweet black sesame dessert dumplings except that instead of dough it’s with hot water rinsed spinach which tasted amazing. Chicken karaage on its own is amazing, the mayo and chili oil sauce is just okay I wish it came with something sour like a ginger yuzu sauce as standard but the karaage itself more than makes up for it. Best Japanese food I have tried in Edmonton! We started with the hot stone Waygu, the $1 salmon sashimi, the Volcano roll, and the Mango Fry roll, all of which were simply incredible. After that, we decided to get another plate of the salmon sashimi and the Godzilla roll which filled us up. Including the sake flight, the total was around $115 for two. Definitely will be coming back here rather than spending $150+ on Earl's average tasting food.

What a great place for sashimi sushi...the grilled squid was excellent as well. Service was amazing (for the second time, as amazing in december as well), the sashimi quality was some of the best I have ever had in Canada...nice decor, just feels nice when you walk in. Also really enjoy the complimentary salad at the start of the meal, tasty!

staff: friendly, helpful, interacted with our kids. service: friendly, prompt, made recommendations, food came out quickly. establishment: nice downtown location. Lots of parking around. food: always delicious! Tempura crispy, rolls are great portions and flavour, sashimi is so fresh and tender.

Really nice place! Food was delicious and we had a great time there.We order cold Sake and it was amazing too. Staff was really nice too. We’ll be back soon.
