Jardin du Kashmir

I had the pleasure of ending up here when I showed up in Montfort l'Amaury on a Sunday evening, expecting everything to be open, while forgetting that I was in (relatively) rural France. I am a bit skeptical of Indian food in Europe, with the amount of watering down that goes on, but here the food was fresh, spicy, flavorful and served with a smile and an appropriate level of spice. Prices were very reasonable too. Big cheers to Saqib for the wonderful welcome.

We were recommended this by the gentleman on reception of the hotel we were staying in. A hot night, we ate outside and it was fully booked (inside and out I am a vegetarian and my husband is not, he likes really spicy food (and I am more of a korma girl! but the food was unbelievably good we both loved it. Great food and Great service and the perfect French town too!

Nice terrasse amidst other restaurants and bistros at the foot of the main church. The printed menus on the table gave perhaps a bit of a cheapish impression but the dishes were in fact very good (and a nice glass of free mango juice as starters). Very nice byrianie maison.

You can smell the spices from this restaurant from blocks away. But the food did not deliver. The service was bad. The food was salty and not spicy in fact just not really that good. We should have known as every night it was the only one not completely booked.

Nous n'avons pas été déçus les 2 fois que nous y sommes allés.Ambiance sympatrique, serveuses et serveurs très aimables, cuisine excellente (que l'on peut finir chez soit car très copieuse et possibilité d'emporter s'il en reste).
