Let's start here. Originally my sister had tried to book a reservation for my nieces birthday via open table. She'd booked well in advance but could only book for 6 due to open table restrictions. She'd immediately called and asked for the reservation to be expanded to 8 and explained the situation with open table. She was taken back by the treatment and unprofessional attitude she'd received in response. Very rude and aggressive treatment by a person named Bill, who'd called himself the manager. I celebrated my mother's birthday with a group of five at this restaurant. The dining room was lovely, and they had live piano players on Fridays. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, the whistle appetizer, and a wedge salad to start. Unfortunately, the shrimp cocktail was disappointing. It seemed to come from a frozen bag of pre-cooked shrimp, as they were still icy and lacking in flavor. The mussels and Caesar salad were decent. WORST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN. After seeing some of the reviews on UrbanSpoon my husband and I figured we would give it a try. Wow are we really sorry we did! For an appetizer we had the stuffed portobell mushrooms $7.99) they were the greasiest, blandest stuffed mushrooms I've ever tasted. I had the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina $15.99) for my entree and when I tell you the consistency of the Gnocchi was like paste it is not an exaggeration it was actually sticking to the roof of my mouth) and again the sauce had absolutely no taste. - oh, man. this restaurant has the worst service. with so many decent Italian restaurants in the environment there is absolutely no reason to visit this facility. waitstaff is rude, management is useless. we recently tried to go to Sunday brunch. wait after about 15 minutes to be recognized at our table and ask a busboy to bring a waiter, the waiter came to our table and seemed very laborious. wonderful, wonderful. my family just came back from dinner in jarrettown for the 59th day of my naben. everything was delicious. he had the act, my mother had jarrettown pollo and I have tilapia. we all ran over the plates. my man and I have traveled to Italy several times, and we said that eating is as good and as beautiful as restaurants that we thrive on the canals of venedig and san gimignano toskana. not your usual Italian restaurant. we will return!

the most disgusting eating ever. we went and were servered by five who sat at the bar and said that the first edible of the night. we ordered two appetizers that they gave us as an app and one as dinner, we didn't complain. the wee was cheap eating was impressing and disappointing. we will never go back, it was quite disgusting and just as if they had tried to be a good restaurant.

My family dined at this restaurant last night. The shrimp cocktail was a favorite, and the veal marsala was also delicious. However, the spaghetti could have been warmer as it was too cold. The dessert, of course, was a hit. I enjoyed a delicious French vanilla ice cream. The service was very attentive as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
