Disappointed to say the least. Portion sizes were small and the food was average to below average. The service was the most disappointment of all. The waiter took ages to take our order and he had the most depressing looking face you could tell he...wasn't happy to be there. Other customers came in after us but some how their meals came out way before ours. the decor is soothing and the bar well equipped. yum cha here is the choice from the menus, but this is not disturbing as the choices are varied and there is no push to make the choice or eat faster, as at some places. The...clientele is anglo, mostly older, but some families. all are well looked around. I chose a medium selection and this came as about six dishes: fried entrees (won ton, curry puff, jump roll,) steamed dumplings, chicken/iron soup, singapur noodles, honey chicken and bananen fritte. all are very safe choices that we would have known from the 1960s. I was pleased that they found me a table because they had some bookings.
I begin with the positive, eating is good, without doubt about it. the old dame, which serves, must be in the rest, very rough a very slow. we ordered water, no other drinks, only water, it took 20 minutes each time we ordered water for it to...starting that involves asking twice, each time we ordered it. in a phase she basically told me to close, I was not rude, asked (again) if we could have a bottle of water. Even when I asked the manager/obner for water, we waited 22 minutes. very poor service, very rude staff. I wanted to get two stars, I was between one or two together. put on more competent staff.
I order from this restaurant at least a few times a month. Tonight, one of the dishes was missing from our order. We called Jasmine House to let them know, and within 20 minutes of the phone call, the missing dish arrived, along with freshly cooked rice and a complimentary bottle of soda. I was very happy with the service in this situation. I will definitely continue to order from here again.

I love the food at Jasmine House and have been going there for years. Though the staff can be unfriendly, I am ultimately there for the food which is absolutely delicious. They’re lunch box specials are amazing and good value. Service is slow at times but you are rewarded with amazing food.
I visited this restaurant to celebrate my nephew's birthday. The meal was fantastic and I would rate it a 10/10. The service was also excellent.
