Was there with a group of 10 last Friday evening. This was my 3rd time at this restaurant, each time with the same group for our Xmas dinner function. We had a private room and meals served on the Lazy Susan for the group, something like 10 dishes in total. Gluten-free option for some of our group. Good variety- not sure who selected it or whether it was a set menu for a group. Very good service. Manager was very attentive. Drinks on the balcony before the meal. I really liked the food; it is the style of Chinese food I prefer so very easy for me to like it there.
We stopped by this restaurant for dinner on a Friday night to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It was quite crowded and loud inside, so we requested to sit outside. Initially, we were told "no", but after asking the waitress to check with the manager, we were granted permission to dine outside. We were thankful for the opportunity as we were the only ones dining al fresco. The Chinese food was not the best we've had, but it was decent. We were just happy to avoid the noise inside.
We celebrated our son's birthday at this restaurant. We sat by the window with a lovely view of the city at night. We ordered seven dishes, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. The food was served promptly and in generous portions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To top it off, our son received a complimentary deep-fried ice cream with a sparkler on top, which added a special touch to our dining experience.
We are a group of 14 peoples from Sydney, we are all authentic Chinese from either Canton or Hong Kong , as our experience here I could say this is the best Chinese Cantonese food and just the way good Cantonese food should be that we did not have for long time since The Golden Century Seafood Restaurant in Syndey closed, and the service is just great. It is very luck for locals in Gold Coast to have a restaurant like this.

We have been here many times but won’t return. For the second time I ordered a specific vegetable only to be served a cheaper option with the waitress vehemently insisting it was what I ordered. Once again I requested to speak with the manager and, as with the previous experience, he apologised and spoke with the waitress in a rather unconvincing manner; rather take my custom elsewhere.
Living locally we’ve been told the Jasmin Room is a great experience, but we’ve never been. Our 95yr old aunt wanted Chinese after competing in the master games swimming events (she won 7 gold medals) so we booked. From the minute we walked in we felt right at home. The staff friendly, attentive and the food amazing and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return.
Sad to say my go to restaurant the Jasmine Room, really let us down today. Booking made online from NZ as a surprise for my family. Not sure if there is a change of chefs or management but the food service was well below their usual standard. From Gary in NZ.
We have been there a few times now, a business associate came over from Perth and this was the first place we considered. The managers are interesting... but professional. The food choice and quality has always been excellent

Won’t be going back. We ordered Szechuan beef, curry chicken and fried rice. Beef was chewy, chicken not much better and the rice had a funny flavour. We make better ourselves. Service was terrible.
