Jason's Deli - Reserva de mesa

Well tonight we decided to try something a little different. We decided on Jason 's Deli located on Gateway Street in Beaumont Texas. The place is very nice and they 're were quite a few people dining. The staff was courteous and friendly. Greeting every customer that came in. Nice to see employees that really enjoy there job. I decided to get a new sandwich called. The Carmela which consisted of three meats. Ham, salami, pepperoni melted provolone cheese, spicy piquillo pepper relish on toasted sour dough bread toasted and my fiance ordered the Deli Cowboy which consisted of 1/2 pound pit smoked brisket, cheddar, red onions, barbecue sauce toasted on New Orleans French Bread. The original Jason's Deli location – this is where it all began. The food is absolutely fantastic! They have since expanded into a multi-state operation, serving customers from the East Coast all the way to Colorado. When Hurricane Rita struck Southeast Texas, Jason's Deli demonstrated their commitment by sending a tractor-trailer full of food to support first responders and power crews.

Jason's Deli always impresses. Although we had to wait a bit for our food, it was lunchtime, so that's understandable. My husband ordered the muffaletta and really enjoyed it. I had the Amy's turkey-o, which was also quite good. Plus, we always appreciate the complimentary ice cream afterwards. Overall, we were very satisfied with our lunch.

Food poisoning is not my usual experience. Normally, JD is a go-to for something light and get back in the car without being weiged down with greasy food. On this day with 20 min of my drive.... Went there a little after 11 today. Waited in line over 10 minutes to order while the 1 person taking orders was on the phone I assume taking an order. I finally left and went somewhere else. They usually have at least 2 people taking orders. Service: 1

The food and service were excellent. The dishes were prepared quickly and tasted amazing, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. Overall, I would rate it 10/10: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
