The food left much to be desired. The short rib in taro rice noodle soup was tough and chewy, and the soup itself was tasteless. The spicy stinky tofu also lacked flavor, and although they suggested adding duck blood tofu, it wasn’t on the menu and ended up being a $20 addition—definitely not worth it. On the positive side, the fried oyster dish was excellent, and the three-cup chicken met our expectations. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, especially given the high recommendations and positive reviews. We will not be returning.
During our visit to the area, we chose to stop by this restaurant after reading the reviews, and we’re so glad we did! The bottom line is that we experienced an “authentic feel” that we haven’t found anywhere else. We’re not sure if it was the ingredients, the recipes, or a combination of both, but the flavors took us back to the local food we enjoyed in Taipei. Everything we tried (as shown in the pictures below) was outstanding!

The flavors were remarkably authentic, unlike anything we've experienced elsewhere. Whether it was the ingredients or the recipe, the taste took us straight back to the local dishes we enjoyed in Taipei. Every dish we ordered (pictured below) was outstanding.

We are not sure whether it was the ingredients or the recipe, the taste brought us back to local food we have experienced in Taipei. All we had (see below) were excellent.

It is not bad. I think it is a little pricey compared to similar other places. Among other things, we also tried their ???? and although the portion size was good, l think there is much better tasting ???? elsewhere at other Taiwanese places around the 626. The menu has a good range of choices though.
Almost everything is good here. Very close to what we would get in Taiwan, that local flavor. I feel it?s still a bit on the salty side; especially the three-cup chicken. Overall, the foods are delicious.
The Taiwanese cuisine here is excellent. My favorite dish is the minced pork rice, which offers a wonderful blend of sweet and savory flavors. The fried oysters are delicious as well.
The flavors were truly authentic, and everything was delicious. There were also vegetables unique to Taiwan, which makes me eager to return!

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The cooked chicken and Xiao Chao were quite good. The bamboo dish with shredded pork was decent.
A true hidden gem in the City of Industry—an essential spot for anyone who loves Taiwanese or Hakka cuisine.
