"I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years, so when I was in Southern California, I had to make a stop. The food was just as amazing as it has always been. The puri shak, undhiu, and dum aloo curries were delicious, and the mango lassi is a must-try."

this place must have improved since the last reviews, we had a great experience here. yes, it is a small place and not for a chic date, but if your chic date enjoys delicious and fill dug, this is a local joint that will satisfy. first we go in on a random week night and it is full of Indian families, a very good sign. we go to the middle area that has all desserts displayed and the menu board above. one of the managers asked what we want, and we said we wanted to dinner, but were not here yet. he got happy menus and began to explain what they had, soon recommended that we get two of thali combos. the food came out quickly and he came over to explain briefly what we had, and later asked if e...

jay bharat is not good. If I go to a new Veggie place, especially an Indian, I tend to order what is known, I have a basic for comparison. I ordered her very basic South Indian farewell a mysore style dosa, palate clothing, veggie pakoras and idli sambar. none of the food tasted particularly fresh or whole. pakoras is supposed to come out hot and crisp, and these were tepid, limp and underkooked. strike. the palate glazing was also only lukewarm, although the wiper was satisfactory and the shell was saved. the dosa seemed as if she had been sitting for eternity and they just stuck it in the microwave (I don't know it should be the case, that's just how it seemed) it was hard and boring. good...

Jay Bharat is not a good restaurant. When I visit a new vegetarian place, especially an Indian one, I usually stick to ordering dishes that I am familiar with so that I can compare them to others. I ordered some basic South Indian dishes like Mysore style dosa, palak paneer, veggie pakoras, and idli sambar. Unfortunately, none of the food tasted fresh or well-prepared. The pakoras were supposed to be hot and crispy, but they were served tepid, limp, and undercooked. Strike one. The palak paneer was lukewarm, although the paneer was okay and saved the dish. The dosa seemed like it had been sitting out for a while and microwaved, making it heavy and tasteless. Good vegetarian Indian food shoul...

The food was delicious, with the only downside being the heavy use of dairy in some dishes, though most were vegan-friendly. Only one dish from each thali included paneer. The squash soup was pleasantly sweet and the okra was a favorite, lacking the usual sliminess. Those who are sensitive to spice should be cautious, as even mild amounts can be quite sinus-clearing. I ate like royalty and was nearly full by the end of the meal. As the restaurant was preparing to close around 9pm, we noticed large family parties still enjoying their meals, confirming that this is a local favorite spot. Reserva una mesa ahora

Jay Bharat offers tasty, traditional Indian cuisine. I ordered the thali with puri, masala dosa, and samosas, and the dishes were packed with flavor. The servings were ample and reasonably priced. The restaurant was well-kept, roomy, and welcoming. I had a great dining experience there. Finding parking may be a bit tricky as street parking requires payment.

The price was very decent considering the portions I was served in the Thali. I ordered the Gujarati Thali. The flavors were amazing, there were so many items in the Thali, including rice, bread, different types of daal and curries, pickles, raita, papad, dessert, etc. Everything was very well prepared and very authentic. It was a great experience

jay bharat has delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. I had thali with puri, masala dosa and samosas. the food was full of taste. the portions were generous and the price was good. the place itself was very clean, spacious and welcoming. I personally really enjoyed it. parking can be a small challenge. they have to pay for street parking.

The restaurant is pleasant and customer service is excellent. The food was very well seasoned and full of flavour but all the vegetable curries were swimming in oil, which made the food slightly disgusting. If they would significantly reduce the use of oil, everything would be excellent. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant in Los Angeles offers the best Gujarati food in all of Southern California. I visited about 5 months ago, just before my birthday, and enjoyed dishes like besan ladu, dosa, and Gujarati thali. The flavors were excellent and the staff were friendly and polite.
