They have so many different kinds of iced treats and so many flavours! They have hard ice cream, soft-serve, gelato, sorbet, sherbet, milkshakes and more! Each and every flavour we got was delicious. They have the conventional flavours but also many unique flavours as well. We tried the lime mojito sorbet, cannoli gelato, s’mores, cinnamon bun, monster cookie and banana fudge ice cream. The sorbet was so refreshing and all the other flavours were so decadent and had a decent amount of mix-ins. The service was also super sweet and fast.
I can't believe they don't accept cash! I traveled all the way from Scarborough to try their ice cream and only had cash on me (left my cards at home). My kids were crying because we couldn't get the ice cream, and the girl who worked there didn't seem to care at all. Wow! There are still heartless people out there. I will never support this terrible place. She just blamed it on Covid! What does Covid have to do with not accepting cash? I have lost my respect for this town. It's not the same as it was 20 years ago.
This restaurant is the best place for ice cream cakes! It is more affordable than Marble Slab, Dairy Queen, and Baskin Robbins. However, the ice cream is just as delicious as those at Marble Slab and Baskin Robbins. When you order a birthday cake, you can choose two flavors and add a cookie crumble with gluten or wheat if needed. These cakes are customizable and the flavors are fantastic. We now buy our birthday cakes here, which are $10 cheaper and bigger than Marble Slab.
Poor customer service.. two girls serving were full of attitude. We came in quickly decided on a flavour, didn’t waste any time etc and the entire time they were behaving as if they were doing us a favour. Extremely uncomfortable visit with two young kids (who were also very behaved). No samples even though every other icecream place does that .. icecream it self was ok. Some ice pieces. I had been searching for a specific Coconut Ice Cream since the early 2000s and finally found it at this restaurant. The staff is friendly and easy to talk to, even when they are busy during the summer. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. I especially enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of the old-fashioned Ice Cream Parlor.
