Thanks to the Principles of Joy group we had a very nice evening. The music was great and the band members created a great atmosphere. As for the room, the general atmosphere is pleasant but the prices are much too high. Access fees are €15 per person. If you want to have a cocktail, count on at least €23 whereas a month ago they were €18 (verifiable on their Instagram account). As for the chef's platter at €39 or the Caesar salad at €24, the portions are ridiculous and the quantity of iceberg salad does not justify the price. The waiter was not only incompetent but he was not pleasant either.
I don't understand how a jazz club is closed for summer when paris is in its busy season. the jazzclub in the meridian is closed from juni to september. but! if they sit in the opposite, they will be charged jazz club prices. like about eight euro for a cup tee.
Institutional club since 1974 the greatest Jazzman have passed there, Hampton, Cab Calloway, Count Basie orchestra...etc....30 years of my professional life....we must continue.

This club plays jazz and soul on the weekends. It is within the Meridien Etoile hotel. Nice decor and service. Good drinks.
As usual it was great. We had the chance to listen to Fred Wesley. Food is very good and service impeccable.
