Hair in food The only saving grace on this visit and why it?s not a 1 star is that my waiter was very friendly and bussed his but bussing tables. I ordered a country skillet and a pork chop. The pork chop was tender but tasted like it either came out of the freezer or was an older hog. And there was no seasoning on it other than maybe salt. The potatoes themselves were way to oily as well. But the English muffin and the vegetables were great. The main concern was that I found a 5-6 inch long black hair in my skillet only after a couple of bites. At that point I lost all appetite. JBs is a little local diner that has the potential to be much better! The atmosphere is fun and homie but unfortunately the building and food are starting to take a turn for the worse. The food was a below average and the cleanliness was the same. The service was great though! We had a waitress who was new but still did a great job! If they update their menu and update the restaurant this would be a local favorite! I was disappointed because it can be so much better!
Breakfast was tasty. Waitress says breakfast is their specialty but they also serve lunch and dinner. They have a good sized menu of options and cheaper specials. The place was clean except the carpet was pretty dirty. Staff seemed nice and relaxed with each other. The stuffed french toast with strawberries was awesome!
