I just walked into this restaurant and was left waiting at the front for someone to greet me. It's simply unacceptable to ignore customers who are there to support your business. After standing there for about five minutes, I approached a nearby waiter and asked if we should seat ourselves. He kindly informed us that we could find a seat and someone would come over. We did find a seat, but after sitting down, we still weren’t greeted and waited another 5 to 7 minutes. Waitstaff were walking around but completely ignoring us. I will never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. The restaurant was dark, and the chairs were worn and torn. It's a hard pass for me.
We love JDs!! Always visit when we are in IRB. Had a blast there with the live music, strong and cheap drinks. Even got cut off for my first time ever but I earned it and was totally okay with that. My husband was invited to join the band and we had a blast dancing on back patio at bar. Food is okay but we typically don't go for the food but rather the fun. Were there another time this week and it was so busy we sat at inside. Not nearly as much fun nor as good of service as back patio bar. Actually ended up leaving because we were kind of ignored. All good...we would go back because it is such a good time.
Although we've often enjoyed drinks at the bar, this was our first time dining at a table and trying the food. We were with a group of friends and decided to share several appetizers. Our server was exceptional, making sure we had everything we needed and bringing our orders out promptly. The Shrimp Feta Fondue was probably the highlight for our group. We also loved the Haddie Bites and their dipping sauce. You can't go wrong with Fried Pickles or Coconut Shrimp either. The outdoor seating was perfect for enjoying the beautiful day while still soaking in the live music from the bar nearby.
This restaurant has an incredibly charming retro vibe as soon as you step inside, featuring a piano that adds to the ambiance. It’s an ideal spot for cooler evenings or when you want to enjoy a nostalgic atmosphere. Head out to the back bar patio to relax with some music and explore a fantastic menu. Everything we tried was delicious, from the salad with salmon to the skewered shrimp and the shrimp soufflé. The food here is definitely a cut above the average roadside beach bar. We visited multiple times during our stay and can’t wait to return.

This is a fun neighborhood bar near the beach that has great food, atmosphere and service at a very reasonable price. With live music day and night on the patio bar and inside piano bar the two dance floors offer never a dull moment. There are happy hour drink prices and appetizer specials and a bunch of early bird dinner choices for $12. before 6 pm. This night I had the fried clams the best I have ever had severed up by the always friendly Jordan on the patio bar. This place is a must if your in the Indian Rock beach area.
when the upper management starts treating good employees like their garbage that's not a good sign .. no place else have I ever been told I need to pay for my cozy for my beer .. Place went downhill quick .. the only thing that keeps them afloat is good music .. .. I know they're Under New Management now I need to go back and check them out ..
We heard great things about this place. Fun place and good music. Service is HORRIBLE. Diane is not only offering terrible service, she is not nice! Surprised they allow such a miserable person to be at a busy place. Our large group left and will NEVER be back.
Pretty popular. Packed for a Thursday and no parking to be found. Service was a bit slow. Food was average. We had Chicago style oyters....they were puny and overcooked. Gumbo was good, not spicy. They had no fried oysters tho.

This is a great place to go for reasonably priced food and drinks. The crowd is older, the food is ok and the service is great.
A great place to stop for happy hour. The servers are very attentive and take care of you like you are a regular.
