I wanted a good steak with baked potato, plain and simple, and couldn't decide between JD's and the Black Cat. I still might give Cat a chance (seems fun, plus who doesn't love an in-house liquor store? , but I'm really glad I decided on JD's. The steak was unfortunately under-seasoned but the cook was very close to the Medium I'd asked for, and the sauteed onions were phenommmmenal. Entire Staff went out of their way to help me with craft beer choices, cutlery, and the like... with the only, pretty important exception of my bespectacled direct Server (Katie, maybe? . Just wish she cared, even a little bit.
This is a fantastic spot for drinks and tasty food. I visited with my family and we ordered a variety of sandwiches and appetizers. Everything was delicious, and our server was incredibly friendly. We went on a Sunday afternoon and had to seat ourselves, which was perfectly fine, but I wanted to mention it for anyone planning a visit!
It's definitely a busy spot. The service was decent but a little slow, they may have been understaffed. The cheesesteak that I ordered was okay, I would try something else off the menu next time. I love traditional steak fries and theirs were excellent. Definitely will come back.
Fried pickles are a popular appetizer at many restaurants, and this place had the best we've ever tried! These golden, bite-sized delights are a favorite for diners seeking a unique and flavorful snack to kick off our lunch. Our family had a wonderful time here.

Was there yesterday and with few customers the service was very slow. Took longer than usual for food to come out. Had been under lights for awhile as pickle was hot and getting dried out. Food was still ok but not the usual.
Serves 18-year-olds from Stockton on Friday and Saturday night, but reprimands constant customers that there are cursing it’s kind of funny that way though
Came in later in the evening, and the service was great. Our order was made pretty quick, and we were checked on often. Will definitely come back.
