Call before opening for 1 sandwich. So he asks me if I want the fries in or around, I'll be right next door. Delai 30 minutes. I pass 5 min after the opening call, a client in front of me orders a sandwich with the promise that he will be ready in 10 min. As present as the customer of the sandwich by such, I ask if I can pay by card, he answers me that the minimim is 7th, I ask him how much is my sandwich, he answers me 7th. I love this restaurant in fresh, simple and with very well served parts. which is great when we still have to do it. The welcome is smiling, it is a family kitchen and the chef is nice, delighted to share his recipes if asked. I went there with my ti boy years ago and I was happy to see that this country restaurant had resisted the covid crisis, with various closures and worries. It's really one of my favourite bivouac stops in this area of South Luberon when I go to Marseille!
Good to say we came back because the name made us laugh and the comments were very good. So the kind service, the nice landscape and the meal ....a chicken hamburger with VVVV True chicken...no but for real....it was too good...delicious and fries...season of course...the delicious bread also and the no cardboard salad... all really delicious...we wanted to try the desserts all done home but we had been too called for it...no serious!
From crossing to Rognes on Monday evening... not much open and we stopped on this small terrace not paying for a mine but nice. The result, a marvellous, tender rib, accompanied by homemade fries and watered with excellent local cervoise as well as a hot goat salad from the corner and homemade chocolate mousses, at all prices challenging any competition... Unbelievable discovery in an unaffected service station! The decor doesn’t pay a mine, but... Top service, passionate cook (we brought it to our table to understand why we had so well eaten! , the best value for money in the department. House foie gras, delicious frog. Some tables inside and others on terrace.
