We dropped into Stirling on a spur of the moment decision intent on going to the Paradise Cafe for tarts. After parking we chatted with a pair of women taking a break on a bench on the covered bridge. Blistering hot outside but cool and breezy on the bridge we stopped to ask where the Paradise was. In the conversation they suggested that Jenny's had the best burgers and given it was lunch time, we dropped in (after buying our tarts - will review after tasting them). We would not have gone to Jenny's but for the reference. Not much to look at inside or outside, the decor is very small town, mom and pop. Both of us had the Banquet Burger special, $8.99 with home fries and cole slaw. The home f...

We found this to be a snug oasis on a chilly day. The server was bright and cheery. It is in an off street through the middle of this small historic town. The food was good, and the prices reasonable. Opposite is a reconstructed covered bridge over the flowing stream. The menu is not only in the usual folder, but also printed on the wall (where the locals seem to know it off by heart!) The breakfast seems to be the main hearty meal.

Our family stopped at Jenny's for breakfast on the weekend. It's small, family friendly with excellent food at great prices. We had pancakes (3 large, light and fluffy) breakfast sandwich, bacon, eggs, sausage and hash browns. All the food was fresh, homemade hash browns and great coffee. Almost everyone in the restaurant seem to know each other. If your there for lunch try the homemade pies, everyone raves about them.

Took a friend there - food was good - BUT they only take cash. Who carries cash these days? While server pointed out it was noted on the front of the menu, most people go directly to the food. Luckily my friend had cash, but as it was supposed to be my treat, it was embarrassing. Should post a sign on walls or front door like Visa or Debit Card does. Disappointed....

This is a hidden gem in downtown Stirling. It was our first visit and the experience was wonderful all around. Not fancy just good food, good service and friendly atmosphere. Just note that the address is 38 Mill St. Not Sills Rd. Glad we took the time to find it.
