Jericho Beyond Bagels

I had the opportunity to try a bagel sandwich at Nabe for breakfast that completely changed my opinion on what makes a good bagel. I have been craving it ever since! I loved that they had a tofu spread option instead of traditional cream cheese, which is not usually available in New England. I always heard that New York water bagels were the best, but now I am a true believer in Beyond Bagels.

I am disappointed that this is the only breakfast sandwich spot in the Jericho area, but it is definitely one that I never visit because the prices are way too high. $8 for a mediocre bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich? I don't even think they charge that much in the wealthiest parts of the city. I suggest going somewhere else and skipping this place.

Over $11 for a BLT on a roll with barely 3 slices of bacon on it is absolutely insane! Over eleven dollars! I can get an excellent, satisfying BLT from a number of nearby delis for $6. Stay away from this racket.
