Jericho Cafe Tavern

I make it a point to visit Jericho Cafe whenever I am in the area. I have dined there for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed the classic American cuisine. The meatloaf is particularly delicious and not something I typically have at home, but it is worth trying at Jericho Cafe. They have a great selection of local brews, a nice wine list, and some special mixed drinks for those interested. The Beef on Weck is a satisfying choice for lunch, as it is very tender. My boyfriend and I were pretty pleased with our experience here today. He has the Fish and Chips and I had the Haddock special. Our server was very sweet and helpful giving us plenty of time to look through the menu. There was a bit of a wait but what do you expect on a friday night. Food comes looks lovely plated nice. My boyfriend loved his dish mine unfortunately was a bit over buttered, my server she was so sweet and wanted to make things right even one of the owners came to greet us being apologetic. I must say I have never experienced such amazing service will come again.

We live nearby, so we eat here a lot. Even though it is popular, we rarely have to wait and service is pretty much always quick and professional. They have a smokehouse and a good, varied beer selection. Breakfast/brunch has a lot of options and they always have a few specials which are usually pretty creative. The only con is that the menu for take out doesn't change very often. That said, the takeout menu has a lot of quality choices.

This was my third time having dinner at JT on the weekend and it will be my last! First off, there was no parking available. The worst part was the incredibly loud noise level - the four of us couldn't even have a conversation, making the experience very unpleasant. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Our waitress was good, but overall it was a very disappointing experience.
