Got a stew chicken lunch place. I knew something was up when I looked at it and the chicken was this dark. Stew chicken was waaaaaay too sweet, potential over caramelization of the sugar. Stew chicken should be savory with warming spices and just a touch of sugar to cut the acidity from the tomato base. Woman behind the counter seems mad about life because i was very kind and she still had an offputting demeanor. The establishment itself is run down and could use new paint and places to sit. The woman wearing glasses provides world-class customer service; it is evident that she has experience working with great companies, as shown by her gratitude and smile. The other short, chubby woman should be kept in the kitchen at all times. Her attitude is unpleasant and nonchalant; she always seems bothered. Nevertheless, the food is good.

Great takeout, authentic Jamaican food. I ordered Brown Stew chicken with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. Food was fresh and really tasty. It was enjoyable. The gravy for the ox tail had a sweet flavor to it. I prefer my food to be a little spicy, and I noticed that they used sticky rice. I personally prefer long grain rice, but overall the meal was delicious.

The food at this restaurant is delicious. The honey hot wings are particularly outstanding, and the fish is also quite good. If you find yourself hungry in Union City, this restaurant is a great option to consider.
