I went to Jersey Mikes Subs Wilkes Barre,PA location around noon today, I’ve never been to any of their locations. I was greeted upon entry by the counter staff, the location is immaculately clean and the staff so very friendly and helpful. I asked them how their my Mike process worked, had them view my phone to see my reward points etc. I select a Regular number 8 sandwich (which was my breakfast,lunch and dinner) and upon the meats and cheese being freshly sliced the staff asked what other toppings I would like and so they created the sandwich and then I simply entered my phone number into the card reader and my order was paid. I usually believe in paying more for higher quality, and I’ve never minded splurging for a good sub. But seriously, the bread-to-filling ratio was all wrong. There was barely one slice of each type of meat in the cross-section, and only three and a half small pickle slices in half of the sub. The only thing that satisfied me was the amount of banana peppers—go figure! Normally, I'm full after half of the giant sub and save the other half for later, but this time I was still hungry. I’m not sure if it was just an off day, new management, new staff, or some corporate decision to cut costs by reducing portion sizes. The Wilkes Barre location offers fantastic sandwiches. They make the best subs, and I always go for the Philly Cheese Steak, which I love. However, I took Michael's recommendation and tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch, and it's incredible! A big shoutout to Lisa and Michael, who always keep the place spotless. They work so hard and are incredibly friendly, bringing a delightful touch of southern hospitality to the north!
Gross location.Watched the cashier take MONEY, actually cash, with his gloves on and go right back to handling, cutting and rolling sandwiches.I told the ‘shift lead’ who went and addressed the gentleman..but he DIDN’T change his gloves. Proceeded to handle, cut and wrap 7/8+ online orders.Beware if you’re in this area, they don’t care about food safety.

On March 2, 2024, I ordered a sandwich through Uber Eats and spent $20, but it arrived without any of the items I requested. I don't understand how this happens—do your employees not know how to read? I'm really frustrated and unlikely to order from here again.
Fantastic food and wonderful staff! The meat and cheese are sliced right in front of you, and the bread is baked fresh every day! I would recommend it without hesitation!
I look forward to the email every year for the free Hoagie for my birthday month. They always stack the Huagies a mile high with meat and all fixations.

Subs were good, more meat. As Subw less than some other local shops, Curbside Pickup went well.
$20 for a sub is outrageous; it's way too expensive. I won't be returning.
